To remove large acid stains from marble, you can try using a poultice made of baking soda and water. Mix the two ingredients to form a paste, then apply it to the stained area and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 24-48 hours to allow the poultice to draw out the stain. After that, remove the poultice and clean the area with a mild detergent and water. If the stain persists, you may need to consult a professional marble restoration specialist for further treatment. **

To drill a black marble countertop, you will need a diamond-tipped drill bit specifically designed for drilling through hard materials like marble. Before drilling, mark the spot where you want to drill with a pencil and use masking tape to create a guide for the drill bit. Then, use a drill with a variable speed setting to slowly and carefully drill through the marble, applying gentle pressure. It's important to use water or a lubricant to keep the drill bit and the marble cool during the drilling process. Finally, clean off any remaining debris and seal the hole with a marble sealant to prevent any damage. **

On the other hand, artificial marble is a man-made material that can mimic the look of real marble at a lower cost, with the added benefit of being more durable and easier to maintain. Ultimately, the decision between the two will come down to individual priorities and needs. **
